Can I ask a further question and make a point about MCO:
1) If LHR-GRU-EZE is to go daily is GIG to be dropped or will some of the day flights out to GRU be used to provide some of the connections to EZE or GIG?
2) Wih regard to MCO. The flights are not that cheap in Y and once when I spoke to someone at virgin they said that the Y cabin makes a packet to MCO (hence the increase to 3 flights per day in the summer). As others have commented there are very few really cheap flights to MCO.

1) Yes, the other GRU flight looks to be rejigged slightly to provide for a decent GIG connection.
2) The point that
G-BOAC made earlier about opportunity cost seems to evade you. MCO makes money, it makes a good deal of money especially at certain times of the year when the fares are jacked up. However there are other routes that BA can use the same aircraft for that make more money for the business as a whole. This is the notion of opportunity cost, not that one thing doesn't make money, just that something else can use the same resources and generate more profit.
