many people signed up for cards, collected the bonus, cancelled and signed up again, and repeated that multiple times. MBNA got wise and started enforcing the T&C of one welcome bonus per customer. You could always try sign up again, if you're not a serial abuser you may get away with it - but if you don't get the points again there would be nothing you could do or say about it.
