R is a discount first class fare bucket. It's not a Y-UP or any type of economy ticket so you paid for and will receive a first/businessfirst class seat. CO flies two types of 767-400s to HNL, one with 7 rows of BF and one with 4 rows of BF (CO Micronesia) which is also used for lighter European markets. Regarding the chances of an equipment swap that is possible but then you'd be a displaced first class passenger. If you're worried why not just switch up to row 4?
