Tangier is well, not what it was once upon a time and I would recommend going to Fez rather than Casablanca, much nicer to visit. You can also visit the old Roman ruins at Volubilis and Meknes which has been called the Versailles of Morocco. I think this would be of much more interest and fun than Casablanca.
