The comment was mostly aimed at AA 763's especially the main Y cabin (behind the Y-mini cabin). The seats are narrow (17.2'') and old, they still have the 1980's style overhead bins, old CRT screens that don't work half the time. These planes need the Y treatment the 757's are getting this year desperately, especially if AA is going to keep procrastinating on their 787 order.
