I didn't look at the the OPs profile and if they are an AA Plat then no problem with lounge access provided they are departing on a OW operated flight. In the post from the OP they specifically reference AMEX Plat access. Lounge access is not available based on an arriving flight, one has to be departing on a qualifying flight to access an AC with an AMEX Plat card.
