+1 for the Embraer. I fly down to LAX and SFO every weekend to visit my family and the E90 is at the top of my list. I avoid all Airbus flights between YVR and SFO/LAX whenever possible. They're very roomy and comfortable and have yet to be disappointed. I like how there are single seats up in exec class. And in Y - 2 seats only! Never 3! I love that.

Downside - Like others said: No hot meal.
