No. Many brides just travel on their maiden names. (Most brides I know will never change their surnames, but that's another story.)

In the UK, the passport office offers a facility whereby they will issue a passport in the married name ahead of time. Always seemed to me like a lot of bother for nothing. (As does changing your name, full stop.)
