I have been tempted on two long haul flights (HKG and SIN) to book a fake baby.

That is, buy a bassinet/baby ticket at 10% of the full fare rate, therefore have access to blocking bulkhead seats, and then cancel the baby at the last minute and get a refund.

I've never dared to actually do this, although I did run the theory past an AF reservations agent who said that I mustn't do it, but that it would probably work...

Has anyone ever tried or theorised this?
