"Several people aboard an Air Canada flight from Victoria, B.C., to Toronto were hurt this morning when the aircraft encountered turbulence.
Air Canada Flight 190 made an emergency landing in Calgary at about 10:30 a.m. (EST). Air Canada confirmed to thestar.com that people were taken to hospital but couldn't confirm the exact number.
The Canadian Press news service said 10 people were injured while other reports had the toll much higher."
