Passport control not too bad (I love the fact that Mrs. Clubman went to use the Iris, and despite about 30 people in front of me, she was still waiting to get through the Iris when I cleared, pathetic) get to the luggage which is already coming out (since it took so long to get there) but slowly the stream of cases stops coming out yet there are a few of us still waiting…
So the BA rep isn’t sure what’s going on, and keeps making announcements they are checking.
Then they went out to the aircraft to discover a container was left behind (!)
So another wait, and finally our cases come out last (with Priority tags on them!)

We leave the terminal 2 hour after landing.

It really is enough to make one forget you have just returned from a nice holiday…

Mrs Globalste and I had the same problem on our SFO-LHR flight. Fought our way off the plane (we were UD and already the economy passengers/screaming kids were trying to fight out of the door) and through a massive security queue with no working IRIS. Got to baggage and half the club passengers luggage came off plus all of economy, then nothing for an hour. Eventually 1st class passengers and the rest of club came out of the chute, they blamed it on the baggage belts but it was obvious a container had gone missing somewhere because of the people stood there and the fact that the belt was spitting out luggage for the other flights still...
