Mine too. I'm always astonished as to why they need be off for more than a few hours.
That's one of my main concerns about T5. All these high-tech systems are presumably designed to work properly if maintained properly. But what are the odds that BAA will cut back on maintenance of the new baggage systems, moving walkways, security channels, etc, maybe servicing them once a quarter instead of once a month (or whatever)?
One of the positives that I think I spotted in some of the T5 pictures was double escalators all over the place. So at least when one is broken/switched off, pax can use the other. Any chance they'd do the same with moving walkways?
