I emailed the Belvedere in Ostia asking what a taxi would cost to FCO. Just got the response - 50 Euro. That does make those airport hotel prices look a lot better.

Another hotel in Ostia says they have shuttle service for 10 Euro but, upon closer reading, the first run is only at 7 am.
