I think that's bad, but what's even worse is what they charge for internet access for events. Depending on where I am, Most FS will charge between $500-$1500 per day for a single line (which is basically iBahn routed to a banquet hall).
Half the time, they just have some tech open up a port, then there is no technical support, so if you need to bypass a firewall or deal with some other issue there are few people that can help you.
This has been driving me crazy for years, and it is the same in every single FS hotel chain.
