Do you have any more information about that pre-booked taxi from the Belvedere?? I've been searching for quite a while, and the only specifics I've found talked of a cab driver being required to START his meter at 18Euro and it clocked 35Euro by the time he got to FCO! With that added in to the Belvedere rate, those on-airport Hiltons and the Marriott start looking better and better.

Thanks for any help. Our trip is in Feb, and we are looking for a place for Feb 15 (last night before departing Italy).

"I've got an overnight transfer at FCO in a couple of wks and am staying at the Belvedere in Ostia. You'd definitely need a pre-booked taxi to take you to the terminal in the morning (a ride of no more than 10 mins- can't imagine paying anything more than €15), but I guess you'll be saving enough money to make it a worthwhile proposition."
