I use Airmiles for car hire in the States. Once there you can even ask the counter girl to change the CDP number to whichever you like. As you would be paying with a prepaid voucher, they are not really bothered.

I noticed that they sacrified other carriers but that now all BA flights include taxes. Unfortunately, they have messed me up with the the zoning structure... A flight to the Middle East (i.e. Beirut, Tel Aviv) would cost you almost twice now than before.

I get about 50 pounds in Tesco vouchers every three months. If you were me, would you stop converting these to Airmiles and move to BA Miles? Or is it really counterproductive considering than BA award flights have taxes to pay? (I do not normally fly on BA metal)
