FYI, the itinerary is not a straight-forward one, with IB being on the first and second legs of the routing and BA being the last 2 legs, and both International gateway and North America gateway stopovers. I imagine IB & BA should see the tickets in their system once AA did the ticketing. I sure hope AA will do a better job than UA when partners are involved in award tickets.
aa should be able to get you a seat on ib (and if not, call ib with aa record locator) and you can chose your own ba seat with aa record locator and last name on
www.ba.com under "manage my booking".
you don't need the ticket number.
