JFK-LAX=AVOD, but JFK-IST does not?
It is my understanding that the 757s that do the JFK-LAX non-stop run have this AVOD system (but that it rarely works).

BUT

The 767 the does JFK-IST (Istanbul, Turkey, a 5K mile flight one way) does NOT and WILL not because of weight issues?

Is this correct?
