OP - do you really want to status match on the off chance you might get an upgrade to premium economy?

Suppose it does work - they comp you *Silver equivalent and that gets you a premium economy seat. You then have to credit those 10K EQM to your new ANA account. Seems like you might do better to stick it out in Y and get the EQMs and RDMs in your UAMP account. Doesn't seem worth it IMHO.
