Hi, I am flying on AF 188 from CDG to HKG with my partner. Only 4F and 9F are left in the business section. How good or bad are these seats?

If I ask nicelywhen we check in, any chance they can upgrade the person sitting next to me so that my partner and I can sit together. Has it happened before?
