SIN Shangri La Valley Wing Queries
Hi all,
I've tried asking this on the hotels section but it is very quiet there and nobody is responding.
We have stayed at the Singapore Shangri La a couple of times before in various parts of the hotel but never in the Valley Wing.
Mrs Northants JP and I will find ourselves in the Valley Wing for a few days in early March and we have a couple of small queries for those of you knowledgable with this part of the hotel.
(1) The website talks of a "24 hour personalised menu" how does this differ from the hotels usual 24-hour room service menu?
(2) Which views should we try to secure for better views City or Pool?
(3) We have booked a Deluxe room, without shifting up a category are some rooms better than others - i.e. Corner rooms / are rooms near to the lifts to be especially avoided?
(4) Do the rooms have minibars? If so, given the beverage policy in the valley wing lobby are these free?
(5) Breakfast is included in the summit room. If Mrs Northants and I fancy breakfast in our room is this included or do we pay extra? Similarly, can we opt to take breakfast at The Line if we fancy something a little less formal?
(6) Is it likely that the concierge will be able to sort tickets out for the new wheel that will opening in a couple of weeks time?
(7) Any other things we should look out for to get the most out of our stay?
