I just discovered the Am Ex Starwood promo from the link on your website! Thank you. The deal, as I understood it is 10,000 points on first purchase and another 15,000 after 6 months if $15,000 is spent. Am I right?

I filled out the application on line but had trouble with sumission. I called them and the lady had me give her all the info agian over the phone. She then said I was approved and all is well.

When I asked about the promo, she said the 2nd part (15,000 points) just means I will get 15,000 points for the $15,000 spent. No bonus. She said I misunderstood the ad. When I said that didn't make sense as I have seen people post the 6 month bonus, she asked for a promo code from the website, which I can't find. So she said sorry, no deal.

Any thoughts? Can someone help me. She told me to wait to get the card, print out the promo and send in a letter and then MAYBE they'll consider it??!! Should I cancel my application?
