Good question. I've also been wondering. On the few occasions I've flown international F, I've had no apparent need for a concierge; my travel plans went smoothly. Essentially, I pay no attention to them, and they pay no attention to me.

When I was at the F lounge in NRT last month awaiting my connection to PEK, there appeared to be more "concierges" than pax in the lounge and I couldn't help but wonder what the heck they were doing to occupy their time.

I look forward to reading comments from UA FT'ers who have used concierges. Am I missing anything?
