Too many Coneticut NIMBY's. They say "I don't want jets over my 5 million dollar house!" Then they propose a flight and passanger cap. Then the nieghbors complain when Mr. NIMBY's new shiny Gulfstream is too loud, they propose caps on quiter commercial flights. I only flew out of HPN once when DH still flew. The airfare was the same from JFK as from HPN and my origination was slightly closer to HPN (Rockland County). Other airfares are cheaper to JFK/LGA/EWR (once had to go to ISP).
