You may be able to get a GATE PASS from the northwest agent, which allows you to go through security and reach the lounge in a terminal other than the one for your flight.
I had this option the other day at TPA, where they have a Delta Lounge that I could use my World Club card at. As my wait time was brief, I decided against the dramatics of luggage screening and line waiting.
