My ORD-HKG flight was pleasant for following reasons:
1) free booz in economy (a luxury these days, I believe one of the last routes where free booze is available in E)
2) They had some extra sandwiches to eat between meals (I asked in the galley)
3) overall I'd say the crew was a bit nicer than average ... seemed to actually enjoy what they were doing
4) get to go over the north pole which is kind of cool

I once had an ORD-HKG that had about 70 people total onboard... I stretched across a 5-seat Y aisle and slept til we were over Taiwan. Crew was great, saved me a meal and joked that I had the best seat in the house.
