The current AC schedule shows Vancouver-Sydney as a nonstop in both directions. So maybe agents are unaware because the stopover in Hawaii either no longer exists or because people are not allowed to get on or off in Honolulu. The NZ flight to Auckland appears still to exist.

I guess you could book LAX-Vancouver-Sydney however if there is availability on that route.
