I stand by my comments 100%. If this had been anyone other than a "John Smith", CNN would have ran this incident non-stop -- we would have an endless parade of experts paraded in front of us, all decrying the "disenfranchised, radicalized" youth from the ____ community.

Was it a coincidence that he made his way out to YYZ to enter an airplane, as opposed to entering a mall or bus terminal?

To me this sounds like these poor folks were terrorized:

"“The stewardess just came back and said ‘get off the plane, run, run,’” said passenger Kim Morrison. “It was a little scary, yes.”

One young man didn’t know how best to get by the subdued suspect on the floor of the loading ramp.
“The guy was, like, hog-tied right there and I’m like, ‘Ok, do I jump over him, do I kick him or what?” said the young man. “They just said go around him. They were, like, pushing us to get out.”

By the time Morrison and her three sons, age nine, three and eight months, got off the plane, they and other passengers found the doors locked and security inside unwilling to open them.

Some shouting and help from arriving police and security staff soon had the doors open.

Montague, fearing the incident may be a diversion to prepare for some other airport attack, insisted that Peel Regional Police be called to take over the investigation.
