Seems like BA hasn't changed their Y service in years.
I find the service adequate, maybe a bit outdated, it's no more nor less than what one could expect in Y, but I find the seats too narrow for long haul, after some hours there's no way to be comfortable, although the movable head rest (which are not available in WT+) helps a bit.

The new AVOD still has a box under the seat, usually affecting the aisle seats.
If you don't mind to be amongst the last ones to leave the plane, on the 747 rows 51-53 are 2-4-2, although row 53 is too close to the lavatory and the rear door, and people will usually hang up there.
