What is wrong with my maths?

Hi, please somebody tell me what is wrong with my maths for earning maximum miles!

Assume that I book a BA domestic flight for £100 on BA.com. I use a BA Prem Plus Amex card. This gets me 300 BA points.

Assume that I book a BA flight via Tesco.com. I put my Tesco Clubcard number in and I use my BA Amex card. I get 2.4 miles per pound for Clubcard conversion so I get 240 miles plus 1.5 miles per pound for using the Amex card at 150 for the flight. This gives me 390 BA miles.

What am I doing wrong apart from not using the search engine on this site properly because somebody else must have seen it. I now book all my travel, or at least what I can via Tesco Travel. The engine is powered by donteventhinkaboutbookingatthelastminute.com and has some good bargins at times.

The booking fee for Amex usually is less on Tesco.com as well!

Merry point collecting
