Why oh WHY would US tinker with the tried and true system of a dedicated fleet for the shuttle ops?!?!?! That's a real mindbinder from where I'm sitting. When you begin to spread the fleet out of the shuttle web into PHL, one can't help but realize the far reaching effects this will instantly have on the integrity of the shuttle ops.

Clue is right in his initial posting. The shuttle was, above and beyond all else, always (ALWAYS!) held to a much higher standard of efficiency and puntuality. It was a core reason pax flocked to it. Why on earth would anyone mess with the dedicated fleet is well beyond me.
