I am really peeved that u guys were able to correspond with a fax machine. When I called to get credit to my account from a star alliance partner the MP rep told me to MAIL in my ORIGINAL ticket receipt. I asked him wouldn't it be easier for me to fax it to him in five minutes- his response was "We do not have any fax machines here". I then asked why I couldn't send a copy of the receipt in case it was lost in the mail his response was "We need the original to verify and you can send it express mail to insure it arrives". I thought it was pretty incredulous that MP didn't have any fax machines in this day and age! I wonder what the response would have been if I asked to scan it and send it via e-mail "Sorry we don't have computers!". I did eventually get my mileage though, but it was a pain.
