You know, it's not that. People who take the time to search and think about how to do it (in this case going to, of all places, the AA website for information on the AA program) are, IMO, more likely to research other things adequately. Those who profess "I did try to search" typically didn't try very hard. They're more likely, IMO, to ask about the next piece of information rather than find it.
That's all well and good here. But, IMO, these are the people more likely to start threads about losing luggage and not getting reimbursed because they did not get prior approval
because they did not to the research in advance to know that that was required. These are the people most likely to start threads about whether they lose the copay when un-requesting a mileage upgrade
because they did not to the research in advance to know that that was the rule. These are the people who are pissed to find out that they didn't get miles or EQM for their Q fare to Europe...guess why.
Feel free to "nyah nyah" about getting information while doing no work. I don't feel bigger for commenting on that. I just feel smarter because I know that none of the aforementioned problems are going to happen to me...guess why.
