I find it interesting that these days it really is more expensive than before and yet there are a lot less services as well. The days of $200 cross-country trips are over for the most part and so is service. The reason there may be seemingly more elites RIGHT now is due to the fewer planes that are flying (giving perception that there are more fliers) and that there are more folks flying for business than in the last couple of years.

I don't see more elites out of SEA than in years past.
