A reporter from WSJ contacted me today about an old thread on flight radiation (I couldn't find the link).

I told him that I did change my flight paterns because of that tread, taking the ORD/HKG flgiht over the former JFK/HKG flight when possible, despite much more waiting between connections to/from São Paulo.

But then he pointed ORD/HKG is over the pole too, and I'm puzzled. I remember in the air show map we flying ORD/HKG very north, but I would not call it the pole.

So, is ORD/HKG over the pole or not?
