According to AA's website:

you should be able to earn miles on Aer Lingus flights (although now that Aer Lingus has left OneWorld, they're no longer elite qualifying.) However, it looks like you only earn miles on Y, H or B fares. You'll need to check to see if you were booked in one of these fare buckets to see whether you were supposed to get miles or not.
