I have use the search function and got a list of threads. Read through most of them and all was talking about who should get to pre-reserve them first in advance, who sat in that row being uncapable of lifting, and what not...
Would any long distance road warrior help clearify this issue for me ? I have been on the 772ER 4 times, and all 4 times I used my upgrades.
Thanks in advance, because this coming trip, looks like my luck would start running out early in 2008.
And BTW, would those seats have power port ?
Again, thanks for your help.
Yes, it is a row with extra (a decent amount extra) legroom . . . however, be aware of the following:
1) People walking from the front of the plane walk directly towards the aisle seat (due to lav configuration)--therefore, expect to get bumped a lot (and every time by the cart) and expect nasty looks if you stretch your legs out because you're essentially stretching into their walking area.
2) The window seat's legroom is significantly restricted by a very large slide protruding from the exit door.
3) I don't recall if there's power. Check seatguru.com. I've slept from the point of departure on this flight generally (EWR to LGW).
4) Board early. You do have one small overhead bin close to the seat, but that's really it--you might find yourself with bags all over the place if you don't board early.
5) The bassinet seats for infants are directly across from you (center three seats in that row). Bose headphones are your friend . . .
All that being said, I'd still sit in this row. The legroom outweighs all of that to me.
