I grew up in Sarasota and that covers all the basics for someone looking to do a weekend. Perhaps they could have mentioned a stop at the Opera or Symphony; it takes too much time to drive out to Myakka but there's no Old Florida on the list.
btw-- how's they mention B6, how's AA's MIA service doing at SRQ?
