The price of $2500 is not bad actually for BF nonstop EWR to HNL. But if you are willing to take a one stop through Houston you can get it for less than $2,000. If you were to purchase a similar flight to europe that was the same length you would pay a lot more than that. Also, things aren't cheap in Hawaii, even compared to europe.
