I guess we'll never know.
And with this attitude, Milwaukee will stay in the dark ages. And let's look at at the facts - YX has agreed to be bought out by an airline that regularly scores dead last in customer satisfaction surveys. If you think the status quo will be maintained you're sadly mistaken, either YX will be pulled down in customer standards or it will be subsumed as a feeder airline. Soon Skyway will be a thing of the past - I wonder how Northern Wisconsin will feel about the demise of its air service?
The worst mistake I made this past holiday season was not to book a non-stop on Air Tran to MKE for my holiday travel. The legacy airlines are total customer service disasters, even when they are at fault because of mechanicals, overbookings, and crew shortages which are all too frequent.
When it is an option I am going to move business to and stick with Air Tran and Southwest. Reliable new aircraft (not CRJs like YX), good crews, and good fares.
