At the last muinute,we flew a son home for Christmas. He made the reservation, but I used my miles to pay for Hong Kong to West Coast and back. There was only Business available for the return, so he was coach to the US, and Business back. Coach RT is 60k, Business is 100k. So he was 1/2 each.
I was charged 100k.
Do I have an argument for for getting 20k miles back?
