Also the seat map currently shows 1-2-2 seating i.e. not an XM aircraft. I'm actually a bit worried it might be switched to an XM aircraft at the last minute as I hate those seats for short daytime flights (but great for overnight flights) and it makes looking out of the window a sore experience. I hear the South American routes will be the last to see XM 767s so fingers crossed. What are my chances of getting an 'old' aircraft in mid-march
A special meal can be ordered any time a full-sized meal tray is catered (J or Y). 3 types of VEG meals are available - Regular(VGML)/Asian(AVML)/Lacto-Ovo(VLML), but given that it's a cold meal the specs are probably the same for all 3. A fruit plate is the other alternative (FPML), and as a rule are excellent on flights catered from and within South America.
The good old "what are my chances" question?? As brought up in dozens of posts, it's like playing roulette. However as the 763XM project is in full swing right now (up to 3 aircraft being retrofitted per month), your odds are increasing month over month.
