had the chance to try new Y on my SYD-HKG sector. Although I have no photos to back my stories, I can offer some opinions. In a nutshell, I would get out of my way to purposely fly on flight with new Y. I think it's a significant improvement. to me:
1) fixed-back so no one intruding to your space, and also being able to recline and sleep all the way, without being interrupted to lift my seat for pax in the back during meal time
2) seats are actually slimmer, and I felt more leg-room
3) new screen as much higher resolution so crystal clear
4) AVOD. Now this is really sweet.

the new air-show doesn't show altitude and cruising speed, which sux for aviation enthusiast like me.
