In my experience, the OXR staff are pretty good at monitoring pax connections and putting people on the Ventura Co Airporter shuttle or even a cab if it gets tight.

However, like dcutcher pointed out, there aren't many of them and they may be over near the gate helping screen luggage or outside slinging bags so it can be tough to find someone to query. Phone in advance and bring those numbers with you.
