As 56 year old who has worked his entire life (from 16) and has WORKED for everything I have:

Zero sympathy for those who feed at the trough, expecting more than they put in, if anything.

I do not consider reaching a certain age a qualifier for discounts or special treatment or special consideration, just as I do not consider race, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, or anything else a special qualifier.

If you can't afford something......perhaps you should look inward as to why.

However, I am sure that blaming everyone and everything else will be a lot easier.
