agent won't reveal name "for security purposes"
During a not so pleasant interchange with a 1K agent, I asked for her name for documentation. She replied, "For security reasons I can't give that out."
I then remembered that I had already recorded it, as UA agents most often give their names when they answer the phone.
Question: what are the security reasons?
Point of information: The not so nice conversation occurred when the agent rudely told me that I had already been advised of a UA policy (a policy which UA is incorrect on: see my post regarding refunding a ticket in a medical emergency). She told me that customer service would explain why I am "wrong."
