Long time lurker posting for the first time.

I've just about had it with Alaska Airlines and am considering dumping MileagePlan for OnePass as my secondary frequent flyer program. Continental tells me they'll comp me Platinum, and I can put 75,000 miles onto Continental in 2008 without much hassle.

Are there any flaws in my doing this? Are there any Alaskans on this particular series of tubes that could enlighten me. Any ex-Alaska Air fliers that made the switch?
