What will be interesting is if you can find a hotel with better service in San Juan. I have stayed at four different ones there (over 20 visits in total) and they are all about the same.
The Condado hotel is by far the worst. Check in can be as long as half an hour or more. I will always choose the Stellaris over the Condado if staying in this area.
The Ritz, maybe a little better at the front desk. But if you are complaining about the price of wine in the Stellaris, wait till you try the Ritz.
The Courtyard has always be accomodating. I always get the ocean view. But they lack the lounge and not in as nice an area as the Stellaris.
I will be trying the Hilton next. Maybe they will be better. But I doubt it. It just seems that the front desks in San Juan have high turnovers and hard to find one with a competent staff.
