I am still not clear who, when and where is a Priority Tag attached in the self tag process.
As a money-saving measure, they are eliminating Priority Tags as they served no purpose: none to the passenger, as they meant nothing to the baggage handlers; none to the airline, as they increased weight/fuel requirements on the aircraft.
