I booked an award reservation online with CO miles to travel on AS flights. I booked it yesterday, and it seems to be sitting idle.

I got a confirmation number, but then it states:

"Thank you for choosing Continental Airlines. Your purchase is confirmed. You will be promptly notified once the internal processing of your reservation has been finalized so that you can request additional receipts, export to Outlook, refund or change your flight, view/change seats, check-in, or e-mail or print your itinerary."

My question is, how long does it take for AS to confirm the seats and reply to the request??? I need to make a lot of arrangements based on these flights, but I don't want to do so until I know that it is confirmed!

Any insight would be much appreciated!
